Dear Buchanan Family,
Mere words cannot express my sorrow at your loss.
Your MOM was one of my dearest friends.I have so many fond memories of stopping by Pleasant Street to chat with both your mom and dad. Unfortunately your dad always ended up on the wrong end of the talk and got himself in trouble.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. |

Dear Kay,
It's going to take some getting used to sitting in the pews on a Sunday morning and not seeing you there, but I take solace in feeling your spirit which will never cease to fill the building. Thank you for your contributions and commitment to our church. We owe a lot to you and to Buck. |

My sympathy to all of the family on Kay's passing. Although it had been years since I had seen Kay, Karyn and I began every visit with an update on our families as there were multiple connections between us. The First Parish in Medfield and Kay are fondly remembered from my high school (and LRY) days.

Buck and all the Buchanan women & families,
I always enjoyed the Christmas letters and the updates on the family over many years. Karyn has been a mentor and dear friend for over 35 yrs. I'd venture a guess some of that wisdom came from her Mom.
I've been receiving periodic emails over these many long months and prayed for you all as you traveled this long journey together. What a caring, loving family! God Bless you all and grant you peace as you move into this new phase of your lives.
Thankfully, there is the hope and promise of being reunited again one day.
You are all in our hearts and thoughts.
Fondly,
Terri |

| I will always remember my Nanny as a strong, courageous woman who loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. I will always hold close to my heart the memories I have of spending time with her in the summers as a child working in the garden and the many places she took us. She has always been there for my family with a kind, supportive word and I will miss her dearly. She was a wonderful Grandmother and a great friend. |

| Buck -- I learned late about Kay's death this summer. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember her kindness and outreach to me and my family when we first began to attend First Parish, and we always counted on seeing both of your faces when we attended services. I will continue to think of her whenever I make rhubarb pie. Fondly, Nancy |
