Morrill, Christopher Ellis
, age 57, a long time Millis resident, died on Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2009, at home with family by his side.

He is survived by two brothers, Thomas H. Morrill, Jr. and his wife Anne of Framingham and Peter E. Morrill and his wife Priscilla of New Lebanon, NY; a sister, Suellen Coito and her husband A. Michael of Sarasota, FL; his nieces and nephews, Suellen, Lisa, Michael, Benjamin, and Anne; their children, Matthew, Ashley, Anthony, and Aidan; and his former wife and dear friend, Leslie Lambert.

Chris was a coworker and friend, taken much too soon from this world. I'll always remember his wry sense of humor, and his love of music, guitars and fast cars. Chris had the determination to fight to live life for such a long time and succeeded for so long - his spirit and his memory are an inspiration to those of us who were lucky enough to know him. His great courage in the face of such adversity will not be forgotten.

Chris was a coworker and friend. I loved talking music with him and am happy to have the chance to have sat and jammed with him. I have passed his empty desk for too long. He will be missed. Rock on Chris....

It was a privilege to have known Chris, with whom I worked for many years. It was he who welcomed me with glee to my new corner near him in the office when I joined a new programming group, because he knew we shared common interests in music, guitar playing and things with wheels: cars, motorcycles and bicycles. Lots of good conversation and storytelling ensued. When his health failed him, he showed us all how to bear up and persevere. He's gone too soon and missed already. I express my condolences to his family.
