Civetti, Letitia , age 87, of Medfield, died on Tuesday evening, January 19, 2010, at the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton.

Born in Sulmona, Italy, on March 3, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Carmen and Regina (Traficanti) Mastrangelo. She immigrated to Dorchester where she resided prior to settling in Medfield in 1957.

Letitia had been employed as a stitcher with Baron Abrahamson clothing manufacturers in Boston for over forty years. She had also been a communicant of Saint Edward the Confessor Church in Medfield.

Wife the late John F. Civetti and Victor D’Angelo, and former wife of Frank E. Williams, she is survived by two daughters, Nina Schermerhorn and husband Henry of Medfield and Diana Bratsos and husband Matthew of Millis; a stepson, Raymond Civetti and wife Trudy of West Barnstable; many grand and great-grandchildren; a brother, John Mastrangelo of Braintree; and a sister, Livia Pasco of East Boston. She was also the sister of the late Elena Pirrotta.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, Jan. 22nd at 10:00a.m. at Saint Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring Street (Route 27), Medfield, and join them for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00noon. Burial will follow at Vine Lake Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hellenic Nursing and Rehab Center, 601 Sherman St., Canton, MA 02021, or the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St., Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458.

Nina & Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been thinking of all the times we shared as children especially the Christmas Eves at Nonna's house. My Mom is very sad over the loss of her sister and we will be praying for everyone at this sad time.
