Words cannot express how shocked and saddened I am by Gerry's passing. Though we were always only in sporadic contact (between the U.S. and the U.K. - I originally met him and Foof on a plane from Venice to London in 1993), I counted him as my friend, and a thoroughly decent guy who will be greatly missed. I will treasure the memories of the times we met. Sleep well my friend

Thank you to God for the time I shared with my dearest angel GJ. Memories to cherish and treasure. Your sweet smiling face will always remain an image in my mind. Your cute laughter will resound as I reminisce. May your caring and compassionate nature leave an indelible mark on those you touched during your short visit with us all. May you soar in peace with those you loved and admired. I will look toward the clouds and think of you often sweet sensitive man, my GJ...

I met Gerry in 2006 when we worked near each other in Westborough. I was having a difficult time in a relationship with a severe diabetic. Gerry and I talked for hours and he helped me understand this disease. A friendship developed. We had many great times together. He was a truly great man. He talked all about his mother and how much he loves and admired her. He was the great person he was because of her. He handled his challenge with grace and I will miss him.

Gerry, Gerry. I never thought this would happen when I had lunch with you on the 23rd at Tavolino at the stadium and then talked with you the next day on the phone. I will always remember that day as well as our trip to Montreal in Nov '08. And then you were gone a few days later. You touched my life over the last 4 yrs in many ways. I will remember our drives around looking at old houses. Built in the 1800s? Too new for you!! My mum thought very highly of you as well. You will be missed by many people little guy. I know now that you are free from the pain you have been in the last few years. My prayers are with you always.

My heart is broken over the loss of Gerry. We met in the early 90's and had lots of good times together. I remember our many trips to Ptown and our trip to Disney World - how much fun we had together!! Gerry was always there to help me pick up the pieces from bad experiences. Even though we drifted apart, I always thought about him. We recently reconnected through facebook and chatted many times. I wish he had told me how sick he really was. Rest peace my friend. I will think you always.
